Legal / Acceptable Use Policy
Make it fun. Make it fair.
Make Me Rap is for fun videos of people who are in on it. These are the rules for what you can make, how we check it, and what happens when something goes wrong.

01What this policy covers
This policy applies to every photo you upload, every choice you make in the studio, every video Make Me Rap generates and how you share it. It is part of our Terms of Service.
What the product does: it animates a photo you have permission to use into a 15-second performance of one of our own original songs, in a scene and outfit we designed. There are no text prompts, the lyrics are fixed, and there is no face-swap tool. Every video is labeled AI-generated.
02Prohibited content
You may not upload, generate or share any of the following. These rules apply to photos, first frames and finished videos.
- 01Sexual content and nudity
No nude, sexual or sexually suggestive photos or videos, no “undressing” edits, and no intimate scenes such as kissing between real people.
- 02Violence and gore
No photos or videos showing graphic violence, injury, weapons used against people, or threats.
- 03Hate, harassment and bullying
No content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits, and no videos made to mock, humiliate, threaten or bully a real person.
- 04Child safety
No photos of anyone under 18, even with a parent’s permission. Any sexual content involving minors is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
- 05Deepfakes and impersonation
No videos of people who did not agree, of celebrities, politicians, public figures or real musicians and artists, and no swapping one person’s face onto another person’s photo. Never use a video to pass someone off as saying or doing something for real, to deceive, defraud or influence an election.
- 06Copyright and trademark infringement
No photos you do not have the rights to, and no brand logos, sports team names or marks, or copyrighted characters in your photos.
Also not allowed: anything illegal; scams, spam or fake endorsements; political or election content; content that encourages self-harm; sharing someone’s private information; and trying to get around our safety checks, for example by editing a photo to slip past moderation, automating accounts or scraping the site.
03Likeness and consent
- Adults who agreed. Everyone in your photo must be 18 or older and must have agreed to appear in an AI-generated rap video. Ask before you upload, not after.
- Both people in a duet. A duet needs permission from both people. Our duet scenes are designed with two people side by side, performing to the camera, not kissing or in intimate contact.
- Your own pet. Pet songs take a photo of your own pet, or one whose owner agrees.
- No public figures. Celebrities, politicians, influencers, athletes and real musicians or artists are never allowed, even as parody or with a lookalike.
- Consent can be withdrawn. If someone in your video changes their mind, delete it and stop sharing it. If they ask us, we remove it.
- Share fairly. Say clearly that it is AI-generated, share only where the people in the video are happy for it to be seen, and never use it to embarrass someone who is not in on the joke. A league-loser video is fine when the loser agreed to the bet.
04How we moderate
- Photo checks. SeeAPI checks uploaded photos before we save them and checks sampled video frames for nudity, sexual content and suspected sexualized content involving minors. Flagged photos are rejected; if the check is unavailable, the upload stays blocked. This check can make mistakes, does not identify ordinary child photos or verify age, identity or permission, and does not detect every prohibited or illegal use. Sampled checks do not cover every video frame. fal.ai provides video generation separately.
- Fixed inputs. Songs, lyrics, scenes and outfits are made and reviewed by us; there is no free-text prompt.
- Checks before delivery. The free appearance preview and the finished video pass automated safety and technical checks before you receive them. Normal delivery does not wait for a person to approve it; we may review material when investigating a report or a service problem.
- Labeling. We mark every video as AI-generated on the site and order pages. The original MP4 has no burned-in label, so say clearly that it is AI-generated when you share it.
- Records. We keep moderation results and review decisions, without the photos, as described in the Privacy Policy.
05Reporting a video
Anyone can report a Make Me Rap video, and anyone shown in one can ask for it to be removed. Use the report form or email support@makemerap.com. Include a link to the video or where you saw it, and tell us what is wrong.
- What happens next. We confirm we received your report, review it, decide, act, and tell you the outcome.
- How fast. Reports involving a child, sexual content or a person who did not consent are our top priority: we aim to act within 24 hours and can take a video offline while we review. We aim to resolve other reports within 3 business days.
- Confidentiality. We do not tell the uploader who reported them, unless the law requires it (for example, copyright notices may be forwarded).
- Good faith. Knowingly false or abusive reports are not allowed.
06Enforcement
We act on what we find in our own checks and in reports. Depending on how serious the violation is, we may:
07Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, tell us why within 30 days of our decision through our feedback form (choose “Other”, add the order ID if there is one, and give your email so we can reply). Where our team size allows, someone who was not involved in the first decision reviews the appeal, and we reply within 10 business days.
08Changes and contact
We will update this policy as the product changes and post the new date at the top. Questions: send us a message through our feedback form.
